Andrew Reid has been our pastor since August of 2022. Raised in Moncton NB, in a Christian home and brought up in church, he placed his faith in Jesus Christ for salvation at an early age through the testimony of Godly parents and faithful preachers and teachers of the gospel.

After completing high school, he attended Emmanuel Baptist Bible Institute in Moncton, NB. While serving in his local church, God then lead his family to Amherst, NS. He then served as youth pastor here at Gospel Light Baptist Church since the fall of 2017, when the church was founded. During this time, he gained valuable ministry experience under our founding pastor.

Pastor Andrew has been married to his wife, Melissa, since 2007 and has 2 children, Taylor and Marshall.
